I know you were experimenting with electronic music and this sounds to me like an attempt to meld that with your singer-songwriter talents, and I think you've done it very well.
I love that big slow, dirty beat - and to combine it with delicate acoustic guitar is a wonderful touch. The whole is just so eerily seductive, like being drawn irresistibly into something dark, dangerous and beautiful. I don't know how you came up with some of the noises in this (is that an keyboard in the background?), but that's part of why I love this so much.
I'm sure you could develop this further if you wanted to, but as it is it's a really interesting and emotionally captivating piece of work - and it's so, so good to have you back sharing your talents with us

This is awesome You always apologise for making do with the tools at your disposal, but I think it adds so much to your music. You fought to make it exist, and it was well worth the fight.
Reminds me of Portishead in attitude, it is really great to see you develop as an artist

Wow this is really very trippy. I love the effects on your voice. I agree with Frad in that it reminds me a little bit of Portishead and in my book thats a huge compliment as they were awesome. It all has a very groovy beat and i think you should feel very proud of your efforts here.

Whoahoah, definately experimental but weirdness ... not so sure Katie, I'd rather call it creativity 'cause this is quite nice to listen to First of all I'm liking your vocals, very much actually. I will be echoing Fra and Steve for the Portishead-ish similarity. (which is a compliment ofcourse ) The beat is definately nice and the melody which I presume was made with the guitar, is definately catching my attention I'd say, keep it going girl 'cause this effort is damn worth its time

I love this! I think this is the best of all the some - so eerie and strange (in a good way of course).

No, I'm not reversing anything in the song. It sounds like it -- but I'm not!
